Energy Project
Helping students prove
that every household can save energy
It’s not every day that students can learn about science,
help the environment and potentially save their families hundreds
of dollars in power bills all at the same time.
But that’s exactly what can happen if schools take
up the Home Energy Project, an exciting education program
in three sections: Calculate, Conserve and Communicate.
The Home Energy Project CD follows the same structure as
that of the teacher’s resource. You are able to view
all sections of the resource as a PDF file or, alternatively,
download the information. This CD also enables instant access
to the Origin Energy
efficiency website and energy efficiency calculator.
It’s
fun, it’s science, it helps the environment
Dr Tim Flannery, Director of the South Australian Museum and
science educator, reviews the Home Energy Project.
