VCAA Releases 2025 VCE Unit 3-4 End-of-Year Examination Timetable

The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) has officially released the 2025 timetable for all Unit 3-4 End-of-Year VCE examinations. This timetable is essential for all students undertaking their final year studies, as it outlines the dates and times for each subject’s external assessments, including written, oral, and performance exams.

Key Details:

  • The examination period commences with English and English as an Additional Language (EAL) on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.

  • Examinations will continue through to Wednesday, 19 November 2025, covering all VCE subjects, including specialist studies, languages, and VET programs.

  • Students are reminded to check the specific starting times for each examination and to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start.

  • Afternoon session start times vary: on days with only two sessions, exams begin at 2:00 pm; on days with three sessions, the afternoon session starts at 3:00 pm.

  • Each examination includes a 15-minute reading period unless otherwise specified.

  • For performance and oral examinations, students will receive individual advice slips with their allocated times and must bring both their photo identification and the advice slip for entry.

  • Several exams, such as Music and Languages, include an audio component as part of the assessment1.
