MacKillop College Key Dates: End of Semester One
As we approach the conclusion of Semester One, we would like to update you on important dates and arrangements for the coming weeks.
Key Dates and Arrangements:
- Year 11 Exams: These will take place from Tuesday, June 3, through to Monday, June 16.
- VCE General Achievement Test (G.A.T.): Scheduled for Tuesday, June 17.
- End of Semester One: The last day of Semester One for all students is Friday, June 20.
- Start of Semester Two: Classes for Semester Two will commence on Monday, June 23.
- End of Term Two: The term will conclude on Thursday, July 3.
- Staff Professional Learning Day: There will be no classes for students on Friday, July 4, as staff participate in a professional learning day.
Careers Senior Pathways Expo and Online Learning Days:
This year, our Careers Senior Pathways Expo will be held on Thursday, July 3. To support individual career counselling sessions as part of the Expo, we will be running online learning days for Year 9, Year 10, and Year 11 students on the following dates:
- Year 9: Friday, July 25
- Year 8: Monday, July 28
- Year 10: Wednesday, July 30
On these days, students will be provided with work via the SEQTA platform, which they are expected to complete independently at home. These online learning days are necessary as a significant number of our teaching staff will be assisting with the individual career counselling sessions.
