SACCSS Junior Girls Football Results:
Thursday 31 July 2025
Congratulations to all students who represented MacKillop at the SACCSS Junior Girls Football Round Robin Day on Thursday 31 July. The girls made the semi-finals where they were very competitive, before going down to St Monica’s by 19 points to finish third overall for the day.
Best players on the day – Ruby K, Abbie C, Charlotte B, Ayla S, Olivia Pino, Sophia M.
SACCSS Senior Hockey Results:
Monday 4 August 2025
Congratulations to the 29 students who represented MacKillop at the two SACCSS Senior Hockey tournaments on Monday 4 August. The Senior Boys team went through the day undefeated but came up against a very strong team from St Francis Melton in the Final. Unfortunately, the boys were outplayed, going down 5-0 to finish the day as runners-up.
The Senior Girls team however, also went through the day undefeated, culminating in a hard fought 2-1 win over Emmanuel College in the Final. A special mention goes to Sports Captain Livinia W, who scored both goals and won the medal for best player in the Final.

Grand Finals – Wednesday 10 September 2025:
Congratulations to all students who played in Premier League Grand Finals on Wednesday 10 September. All five teams were outstanding in their efforts and did the school proud. Commiserations to the Girls Basketball and Girls Volleyball teams who were extremely brave in defeat in hard fought battles against Marymede, with both games going down to the wire.
And a huge well done to the three premiership teams. The Boys Football team had a gutsy 10-point win over archrivals Salesian, our first Year 9 Football title since 2019. The Girls Soccer team defeated Chisholm in a very close game to win their first title. And the Boys Soccer team defeated Penola to secure their third consecutive title after winning at Year 7 and 8. Both Soccer teams will be promoted to Division 1 in 2026.

SACCSS Athletics Results:
Monday 1 September
A big shout out to the 95 students who competed at the SACCSS Athletics Carnival at Albert Park on Monday 1 September.
At the end of 126 events, we finished in second place in three divisions – Intermediate Boys, Intermediate Aggregate and Senior Boys. The highlight was the outstanding win by the Senior Boys Relay team of Matthew M, Cooper M, Archer T and Tristan W in the final event of the day, while the Year 7 Boys team also had an outstanding win in their relay as well. A special mention also goes to Year 12 students Livinia W and Chloe P who carried the Senior Girls team on their own after a number of late withdrawals.
