Student Progress Interviews

Student Progress Interviews for Years 7–12 will be held on Thursday 21 August 2025 from 9:00am–8:00pm.

Please Note: All interviews will be conducted ONLINE via Microsoft Teams. Students are expected to attend.

We are pleased to announce a new initiative. Students will receive an online meeting link so they can join their family and teacher online providing further flexibility to families.

Meeting links will be emailed to each student on Wednesday 20 August after 3:30pm

ℹ️ Quick Notes

• Only one parent/guardian needs to book an interview, but if students have more than one household each parent/guardian can make their own booking
• Download or email your schedule after booking.
• If you need to make any changes to your booking, this can be done via the portal.

Register now! The Tuning into Teens Program is Back!

We are excited to announce that we’re once again running the Tuning in to Teens™ program at MacKillop College in 2025.

Tuning in to Teens™ is a parent/carer program that focuses on emotional language and building stronger relationships with your teenage children. It aims to improve emotional awareness and regulation, and reflection on emotional communication styles. The program supports families in gaining a greater understanding of their teen’s emotional experiences while demonstrating specific skills that can assist in being supportive, empathic and staying connected with their young person.

This program is run by the College’s counsellors, every Tuesday from 19 August – 16 September, 7:00pm – 8:30pm.

Please note, participants are asked to attend each session of the Tuning in to Teens program. Please RSVP by 13 August to the following email  counsellors@mackillop.vic.edu.au.

Cost: This program is free

Location: In person at MacKillop College.

Duration: 19 August – 16 September

Time: 7:00pm until 8:30pm – 1.5 hours per week

Suitable for: Parents/Carers of adolescents aged 12-18 year old

Registration is essential. Please register by Wednesday 13^th August, 2025 by emailing counsellors@mackillop.vic.edu.au.

Have you ever wondered what is discussed at the School Advisory Meetings?
This is your opportunity to come along, gain insight into the conversations that take place, and see how these discussions help shape the direction of our College.
We understand your schedules are busy, so there is no obligation to attend. However, you are warmly invited to join us on Wednesday, 20 August 2025 at 7:30pm in the Sr Giovanni Farquer Administration Building.
